Anna Lee Walters's 'Ghost Singer' differs from most mystery novels in its presentation of intertwined, multidimensional mysteries, not all of which are solved. The novel shows different approaches to mystery taken by the Anglo and American Indian characters. The Anglo characters meddle in mysteries of American Indian culture that do not concern them.
