This thoroughly professional explanation of a widely misunderstood subject covers early rock art in a vast Pacific Northwest area. Its title refers to a major portion of its geographical coverage, which, however, omits a large Columbia plateau segment. But inclusion of all of British Columbia's upper Fraser country, which features nearly identical rock art, compensates for that exclusion.
