First there was that slip of the tongue by Pat Robertson, the founder of the Christian Coalition, who in an interview with CNN on April 16 seemed to give his blessing to China's strict family-planning rules. Then came news that Singapore, which once embraced UN-backed family planning and promoted a "Stop at Two" campaign, is worried about a labor shortage and is urging its citizens to have more kids.
