IMAGINE, FOR A MOMENT, the imaginable: that the plotters of the Venezuelan coup did work hand-in-glove with Otto Reich, assistant secretary of state for the Western Hemisphere, and his merry band in planning what became the two-day overthrow of President Hugo Chavez.
