The Republicans' recent effort to permanently repeal the estate tax went strictly by the playbook: Call it a "death tax," and say it imperils the family farm. Of course, the Reeps were really pushing what they always push for: the upward redistribution of wealth, which, as in all previous estate tax debates, they sought to conceal under great mounds of horseshit.
