I WRITE TO CORRECT THE record about the views of Deputy Secretary, of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, which were misrepresented in Robert Dreyfuss's "The Home Front" [November 5, 2001].
In his article, which warned that planning for domestic terrorist attacks endangers the "fire wall" embodied in the Posse Comitatus Act "between the military and civilian law enforcement," Dreyfuss wrote inaccurately that "in testimony before a congressional committee" the deputy secretary of defense said nothing of the kind.
