"Labor boss" is a term to which we're almost congenitally adverse. But when a labor leader sells out his (and it's still more commonly "his" than "her") members, the term "labor boss" is fitting and proper. By which standard, the two pre-eminent labor bosses in the land happen to be George W. Bush's two favorite union leaders: Carpenters President Doug McCarron and Teamsters President James P. Hoffa.
