DUE TO AN EDITING ERROR, a sentence in Paul Waldman's story on Al Gore's media coverage in 2000 ["Gored by the Media Bull," Jan. 13] stated that he had seen Katharine Seelye of The New York Times questioned "in a number of public forums" about a misquotation of Al Gore.
