MICHAEL TOMASKY ["IS IT Time to Believe?" January] wrote that Bill Clinton re built the Democratic Party, "indeed, he saved it." Clinton's political accomplishments are regularly overstated. His election to the presidency was courtesy of Ross Perot, who split the Republican vote and denied George Bush Senior re-election.
