Those of you concerned that democracy may be getting out of hand will be relieved to know that six Republican House members have done their bit to snuff it nut in Latin America. On April 30, the six sent a letter to a member of the senate of Uruguay, urging him and his colleagues to vote against a pending bill that would legalize first-trimester abortions and promote family planning in that nation.
