Dow Chemical's Society of Plastics Engineers' Thermoplastic Materials and Foam Division, Midland, MI, has presented its 2002 Outstanding Achievement Award to Che-I Kao. Dr. Kao is a Dow Fellow and is currently the company's Chief Scientist. He was honored for his important contributions to the plastics industry in the areas of polyolefins, polycarbonates, engineering thermoplastic blends, and emulsion polymers.
