We got another glimpse this month into the working of the liberal mind--a very instructive one. At York University in Toronto, a Jewish student group and the Canadian Alliance youth wing set up a display cataloguing the murderous human-rights violations of Saddam Hussein, and were handing out pamphlets. Along came some anti-Iraq-war demonstrators. A scuffle broke out, in the course of which the display was trashed.

That same day, similar demonstrators mobbed and kicked a Jewish student, snatched her camera and called her a Nazi. A swastika appeared on the door of a Jewish faculty member.
