Projections are that air cargo will continue to grow in volume. Non-traditional carriers are offering air services as extensions of usual business, while forwarders enhance their offerings. When Con-Way AIR Express was launched in early April, it seemed a logical extension of service for Con-Way Transportation Services Inc., a well recognized $2.1 billion transportation and services company.
While other carriers offer air delivery as a component of their total services packages, Con-Way AIR is a new air freight forwarder located near Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport, in Forest Park, GA.
