Rapid auto sales drive new Hyundai DC. (Front Page).

Hyundai Motor America (HMA) broke ground last month on a new DC in Aurora, Ill., which will expand the auto manufacturer's service in the Midwest and Southern regions. The $17 million, 350,000-square-foot facility will house Hyundai's new Central Region Office and Parts Distribution Center.
Scheduled for completion at the end of the year, the new facility is replacing Hyundai's existing DC in Aurora, which has been sold. The expanded DC will almost double in capacity for warehouse and docking space, and will include more than 320,000 square feet of warehouse space, 26 exterior truck docks, 35-foot ceilings, and 30,000 square feet of office space.
