Salary survey pegs distribution execs at nearly $150k. (NewsWire).

Top distribution executives earned a median $149,500 last year, says a new survey from Mercer Human Resource Consulting (www.imercer.com). That result came from a poll of 249 logistics and supply chain companies, representing almost 66,000 employees in 56 different jobs.

Participating organizations were in every sector, including: manufacturers (54%) wholesale/retail (18%), utilities (4%), transportation (3%), and other (30%). In addition to distribution executives, the results for executive-level jobs included: supply chain ($210,300), Logistics management ($164,600), and purchasing ($148,500).
