A SIX-MAN TEAM OF IRISH CLIMBERS SCALED THE SECOND HIGHEST PEAK IN THE WORLD THIS PAST JULY. K2, THE 8,611-METER HIGH MOUNTAIN LOCATED IN THE HIMALAYAS, IS REGARDED AS A MORE DIFFICULT TECHNICAL CLIMB THAN MOUNT EVEREST.
