A neuroscience research center at the University of Florida's Gainesville campus is being designed by the Gainesville office of A/E Flad & Associates. Construction manager is the Orlando office of McDevitt Street Bovis. The $35 million, 213,000-sq.-ft. facility will be a national center for training military health specialists in the treatment of spinal cord and head trauma injuries, and will be funded in part by an $18 million Defense Department grant.
