Uniroyal, Nissan Develop Acaracide

UNIROYAL CHEMICAL COMPANY Inc. is offering a new acaricide which it claims is effective against mites. D-2341, which was first introduced at the Brighton Crop Protection Conference in Brighton, England; last month, has shown crop safety and a high level of efficacy against mites the have developed resistance to other acaricides, the company says, The new acaricide will be developed jointly in Japan with Nissan Chemical Industries Inc. of Tokyo. Uniroyal expects the first commercialization to occur in Japan and Nissan Chemical will be the exclusive Japanese distributor.
