Marine Genetics to buy Ampro in fish meal and oil consolidation.(American Proteins)

THE LARGEST US PROVIDER of fish meal and oil has bolstered its presence with a new acquisition. Zapata Corporation's $120 million Marine Genetics Corporation unit has added to its portfolio the US fishing and production assets of American Proteins Inc. Marine Genetics was known as Zapata Protein Inc.
