TITANIUM DIOXIDE--Kerr-McGee Chemical LLC will increase the prices of its Tronox and Bayertitan [TiO.sub.2] products by Cl0c. (7c.) in Canada, effective June 15.
"This increase will maintain consistency in our titanium dioxide prices throughout North America," says Peter Woodward, Kerr-McGee's senior vice-president for chemicals.
Millennium Inorganic Chemicals also has a Cl0c. increase slated for June 15. That increase excludes durable specialty grades that will rise by Cl2c. Kronos, Kemira and Tioxide Americas have a C7c. increase scheduled for June 1.
The increases are to keep Canadian prices, undermined by a falling Canadian dollar, in step with US prices (CMR, 6/8/98, pg. 26).
