PHARMACIA & UPJOHN has reccived full marketing approval from FDA for Camptosar Injection (irinotecan hydrochloride injection) for metastatic colorectal cancer. Camptosar was first approved in 1996 to treat metastic cancer of the colon or rectum with the anticancer agent, fluorouracil. In the first half of 1998, sales of Camptosar were $85 million.
