Huntsman Buys Orica's Australian Surfactants And Chemicals Business.

HUNTSMAN CORPORATION has acquired the specialty surfactants and chemicals business of Orica Australia Pty Ltd., formerly ICI Australia, for about A$155 million ($94.5 million). The acquisition is a major purchase for Huntsman, giving the company its first surfactants plant outside of North America.

Orica is the only integrated surfactants business in Australia and New Zealand, and the region's only producer of ethylene glycol and glycol ethers.
