ROCKWELL AUTOMATION has announced a new standard integration between Rockwell Software RS Batch process management package and Aspen Technology's InfoPlus.21, Batch.21 and ERP Connect software package. The companies say the combination of batch manufacturing software and batch history information will enable manufacturers in the process industries that have batch processing to optimize production and simplify data transfer between plant floor operations and corporate enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
