INDUSTRIAL GASES--Air Products says that Fisher Scientific International Inc. will be the exclusive national distributor of its industrial and specialty gases and related equipment. The strategic agreement, which services university, research and development, analytical, and laboratory markets, will allow customers to purchase analytical gases and equipment on Fisher's Website.
Airgas Inc. and Georgia Pacific have entered into a multiyear, national agreement under which Airgas will supply industrial and specialty gases and welding products to 14 of Georgia Pacific's US facilities. Annual sales to Georgia Pacific, a manufacturer of building products and pulp and paper, are expected to total $3 million.
