Huntsman Corporation plans to become a research-driven chemicals and biotechnology company that will straddle the Atlantic with major business centers in both North America and Europe. Two factors are transforming the company.
Only 10 years ago, Huntsman focused almost exclusively on styrenics and packaging. One factor is last year's takeover of ICI's Brussels-based polyurethanes operation, giving Huntsman a business focused on growth through research and innovation.
