Effective immediately or as contracts allow, Olin Corporation will increase its off-schedule price on all grades of liquid caustic soda by $50 per short ton (C$80 per metric ton), anhydrous basis. The increase is not to exceed list price. The Dow Chemical Company will also increase its off-list selling price for all grades of caustic soda sold in the US by $50 per dry short ton (basis 76 percent [Na.sub.2]O).
The increase is effective immediately to all spot customers or as contracts permit.
