RHODIA FOOD is charting a new strategic path. To this end it has hired a new president for its food additives and ingredients business, Fabienne SandaneOaks, seven months ago.

Last month, the company unveiled plans that featured the customer-centric focus of the food enterprise through a reorganization into three bulk sectors- meat products, prepared food (baking, ready-made meals) and dairy, which would be supported by the company's technologies in food phosphates, hydrocolloids, cultures and fermenting agents.

Beyond this market-driven organization, Rhodia Food stresses its increased effort in innovation based on the cross-fertilization of the overall group technologies, and on partnering for joint development with the top food industry...
