Chemical Market Reporter, December, 2001

Rhodia has consolidated its global production of coumarin and salicylaldehyde at its manufacturing site in Saint Fons, France, and will close its New Brunswick, N.J., facility by mid-2002 because of increasing pressure from lower-priced competition. Rhodia will work out transition plans with customers to ensure uninterrupted deliveries and will maintain adequate local inventories of products at Saint Eons.
