FOREST Laboratories Inc.'s licensor, Lipha SA, a subsidiary of Merck KGaA, has been granted priority review with FDA for its new drug application for acamprosate, a drug to treat alcohol addition. The drug is marketed by Merck in Europe as Campral. Forest acquired US rights from Merck in 2001.
