BUILDING ON ITS core competency in supply chain management (SCM) software applications, Rockville, Md.-based Manugistics Group is broadening its reach to incorporate the emerging discipline of enterprise profit optimization (EPO), which simultaneously optimizes the supply side and the demand side of a company.
EPO, which has arisen from the combination of supply chain management and pricing and revenue optimization (PRO), is now the strategic focus of Manugistics, one of the leaders in the SCM space.
