DUREZ CORP. is raising its prices for all grades of phenolic resins, effective July 15. Prices will increase by 7c. per pound for liquid resin and methylon coating resin. They will go up 10c. per pound for powder resin and flake resin, and 12c. per pound for solid lump resin. The company says the increases "are a result of upward movement in raw material costs." Phenol has had a cumulative 2002 increase of more than 12c.
