BASF AG will raise its European prices for caprolactam, Ultramid B and Ultramid BS by [euro]200 ($198) per metric ton. "This measure is necessary because of continuing rises in the price of raw materials and unsatisfactory margins," the company says. Ultramid B and BS are both nylon 6s based on caprolactam.
