IBM has announced the next phase of its company-wide autonomic computing initiative, which will provide hardware, software and services needed by businesses to reduce complexity by making their computer systems more self-managing. IBM plans to deliver a new autonomic computing deployment model designed to help customers evolve to an autonomic IT environment.
IBM Global Services will have a Resilient and Infrastructure Solutions Practice and will set up worldwide autonomic computing design centers to help customers and business partners develop and test autonomic technologies.
