In September Rhodia introduced new, highly stable defoamer products that are VOC- and alkyl phenol ethoxylates-free. These new additions to Rhodia's Rhodoline line of additives are designed specifically for use in flat to high gloss paints, adhesives and emulsion polymerization systems. According to the company, their outstanding stability improves production efficiencies, saving manufacturing time. "Rhodia develops new products, keeping an eye on industry and environmental needs of today, tomorrow and beyond," says Yves Decloitre, business director for Rhodia's decorative coatings and adhesives business. "This means that coatings and adhesives manufacturers can get the performance they need today while meeting the environmental challenges of tomorrow."
