Yokogawa Electric Corp. has developed Exaquantum R2.01, an upgraded version of the Exaquantum Plant Information Management System for petroleum, chemical and other types of plants. Exaquantum falls under the plant information and management category of manufacturing execution systems products.
It acquires data from process control systems for plant monitoring, status analysis and history administration and also functions as a data server for the subsequent transfer of collected data to ERP systems.
