ALBEMARLE Corp. will increase the price of all grades of tertiary amine products effective January 1, or as contracts allow. The company anticipates price increases of $150 to $250 per metric ton, depending on the product grade. Meanwhile, Albemarle and its affiliate Martinswerk GmbH will increase the global prices of fine precipitated grades of Martinal aluminum hydroxide (specifically, aluminum trihydrate, or ATH) flame retardants by 10 percent on January 1, or as contracts allow.

The companies will also increase the prices for various ground and low-viscosity grades of Martinal aluminum hydroxides by at least 10 percent, with larger increases for some smaller volume grades.
