THE GROWTH IN partnerships between specialty chemical companies and customers is providing a new impetus to product innovation at a time when R&D budgets are under pressure. Partnerships could also radically change the way innovative chemical products are priced, helping specialty chemical companies raise both their selling prices and margins.
