Charles Young has been appointed senior vice president of corporate communications at Tyco International Ltd. He will be responsible for media relations and brand management employee communications. Mr. Young comes to Tyco from GE Medical Systems, where he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility.

He has experience in the areas of marketing, public relations, marketing communications, brand management and government relations.
