Thursday night is Alan Flusser night at Bergdorf Goodman's -- that is, when the designer is in New York. This week, for example, Flusser is in tokyo, but normally, one will find him ensconced in the new Alan Flusser shop on Bergdorf's second floor every Thursday eve from 5 to 8 p.m.
Small and intimate, the 300-square-foot shop houses Flusser's tailored clothing and dress furnishings. Here, as witnessed one Thursday night, Flusser met with customers and personally helped them with their clothing selections. One tall and lanky man who walked into the shop had long admired the suits, but was having some difficulty with proper sizing.
