C&A Restructures Sales Operation, Shuffles Execs

In a move to restructure its sales operations along product lines, Collins & Aikman's Yarn division has named Rodney Smith sales manager, spun yarns; Ralph Teddards sales manager, taxtured yarns, and Michael Hamby, sales manager, dyed yarns and sewing thread.

All three report to John Walker, division president, who said "this move will allow us to capitalize on our product specialization and manufacturing versatility.'

Smith has previously been manager of the division's Norwood spun yarn plant. Teddards had been Southern sales manager and Hamby was in charge of interdivisional sales.
