Name Roldan Perry Ellis Units V-P NEW YORK -- Samantha Roldan has been named vice-president of merchandising and product development for the Perry Ellis Collection, Portfolio, Furnishings, and America divisions.

She succeeds Karen Goldan, who has been named director of design for the women's Portfolio division, a new post.

Roldan was most recently with the Bill Robinson division of Bidermann Industries as director of merchandising. Prior to joining Bill Robinson in 1985, she was director of merchandise for men's furnishing at Perry Ellis.

In her new post, she will report to Elliot M. Lavigne, executive vice-president of Perry Ellis Mens.
