Alan Ellinger Leaves Bill Robinson To Be CEO of Basco All-American NEW YORK -- Alan Ellinger, executive vice-president of Bidermann Industries and president of Bidermann's Bill Robinson division, has resigned those posts to accept the position of president and chief executive officer of Basco All-American Sportswear.
He will join Basco Monday.
Bidermann officials were not available for comment, but Ellinger said that no successor has yet been named.
Ellinger joined Bidermann two years ago as executive vice-president of clothing at the Calvin Klein Menswear division. In December 1986, he was appointed president of the Bill Robinson division, succeeding Jean Kolloff, who left the company. Soon after, the Calvin Klein division was sold back to...
