AAMA Research Conference To Focus on Advanced Tech NEW YORK -- The Apparel Research Conference sponsored by AAMA's Apparel Research Committee will feature "Advanced Apparel Technologies: Blueprint for the Future," Oct. 25 and 26.

The AAMA (American Apparel Manufacturers Association) conference will be held at the Atlanta Hyatt Regency, where Dennis A. Swyt, director of advanced manufacturing technology, National Institute of Standards and Technology, will talk on "Flexibly Automated Manufacturing: A View From NIST." NIST is the new name for the National Bureau of Standards.
