GREEN THUMB TO BELK NEW YORK -- Thomas Belk, president of Belk Stores Services, will be the recipient of the American Apparel Manufacturers Association's Green Thumb award for 1989. The award is in recognition of outstanding achievement and leadership in the apparel industry. Belk will be presented with the award at a luncheon sponsored by the AAMA's Apparel Foundation Tuesday, Jan.
