EX-JORDACHE SALES REP SUES FIRM FOR $4.4M
NEW YORK (FNS) -- A former Jordache Enterprises, Inc., sales representative has sued the company for $4.4 million, charging it deprived him of commissions and fired him when he complained about its pricing policy.
In a suit filed in federal court, the salesman, David Bergstein, said he learned in 1987 that Jordache had stopped paying commissions on sales to some of his major accounts and was selling directly to accounts in his territory at prices lower than he was authorized to use.
Upon notifying Jordache that it was violating his contract, Bergstein was terminated on the pretext that his territory was being realigned, the suit contends. Bergstein worked as a Jordache sales rep in western Pennsylvania...
