NEW YORK -- Mindy Grossman will join Chaps by Ralph Lauren, a division of Warnaco, Inc., Monday as president.
Grossman was senior vice-president of merchandising at Tommy Hilfiger Sportswear, Inc.
The position at the Warnaco unit has been vacant since May, when Ed Coll resigned as president of Chaps by Ralph Lauren to join Diesel USA as president.
In her new post at Chaps, Grossman reports to Linda Wachner, president and chief executive officer of Warnaco.
Alex Cannon, executive vice-president of sales and marketing for Chaps, will report to Grossman. Previously, he reported to Wachner.
Cannon was promoted to his current position after Coll left the company.
