NEW YORK (FNS) - R.H. Macy & Co. is seeking formal court approval of new employment agreements with Mark S. Handler and Myron E. Ullman, co-chairmen and chief executive officers, confirming previous reports.
Under the agreements, Handler and Ullman will each receive three-year contracts paying them $880,000-a-year, plus bonuses. The deal also provides for 10 percent annual increases, according to court documents.
A hearing on the new packages is scheduled for 2 p.m., July 22, before Bankruptcy Judge Burton R. Lifland.
