NEW YORK -- Matthew Rubel has joined Pepe Jeans U.S.A., the U.S. division of London-based Pepe Group, as president/chief executive officer.
The company is owned by Maurice Marciano, Lawrence Stroll and Silas Chou.
Rubel was president of Halston Borghese, North America, and, before that, he was president of Revlon's specialty store division.
He takes over the responsibilities from Marciano who is vice-chairman of the Pepe Group. Marciano has been active in the development of U.S. business for the label and will now focus on the international operations of the company.
