Faded Glory brightens product mix. (licenses Bike Athletic) (Brief Article)

NEW YORK -- Bike Athletic, the famous sports gear label, is one of the new licensees at Faded Glory, the young men's sportswear company, which is broadening its mix of licensed apparel and accessories for spring '94.

Bike Athletic is producing a moderately priced line of Faded Glory fitness and activeweare for men, women and youths. Another new licensee, DeSoto Mills, Inc., will make men's, women's and children's socks under the label.

Others are: M.Z. Berger & Co., Inc., which holds the license for watches, timepieces and clocks; Family Optics, a division of the Lantis Corp., which will be the licensee for Faded Glory sun-glasses; and Bennett Importing, Inc., which will manufacture both women's and children's shoes.
