NEW YORK -- The Warnaco Group is ending its long-standing licensing agreement with Christian Dior for men's dress shirts and neckwear. Dior reportedly is very close to inking a licensing agreement with Park Lane for neckwear.
Warnaco has held a license with Christian Dior for both men's furnishings categories since the early to mid-'70s.
Ted Lazarus, president, Park Lane, when reached by DNR had no comment on the Christian Dior report.
Linda Wachner, chairman, president and CEO, Warnaco Group, told DNR that the company is focusing its energies on its men's sportswear division.
